Reheating and Carving Ham
Heating Instructions
We recommend a spiral-sliced ham for the ease of serving, but if you don’t purchase a pre-sliced ham, here’s the step-by-step to presenting a beautifully carved main course.
1. Preheat oven to 275°. Remove outer wrapping and bone guard (if applicable) from ham.
2. Place ham flat-side down in shallow roasting pan with ½-inch water covering bottom of pan. Cover; heat 12-15 min per lb.
3. Remove from oven; let rest 20-30 min. Transfer ham to clean cutting board. See below for carving instructions.
4. Serve with Wegmans Organic Spicy Brown Mustard.

Carving Instructions
We recommend a spiral-sliced ham for the ease of serving, but if you don’t purchase a pre-sliced ham, here’s the step-by-step to presenting a beautifully carved main course.
1. Mise en Place
Set up carving station in kitchen (not at the table) to keep the mess contained.
Place a moistened paper towel under a sturdy carving board to keep it from sliding.
Make sure your knife is long enough to slice across full width of meat; sharpen before carving.
Have a long-pronged fork to steady meat as you carve and a clean platter to receive slices.
2. Separate Meat
Locate bone; cut ham away from bone into pieces as large as possible.
3. Slice & Serve
Lay large pieces flat on cutting board; steady with fork. Cut slices as thin as you like, slicing straight down. Ham grain is not uniform, so you won’t be able to cut cross-grain.

Celebration Ham Heating Instructions
We recommend a spiral-sliced ham for the ease of serving, but if you don’t purchase a pre-sliced ham, here’s the step-by-step to presenting a beautifully carved main course.
1. Preheat oven to 450°. Remove outer wrapping, gold foil, and paper bone guard from ham (reserve gold foil for later use). Also remove plastic bone guard on sliced side of ham. Place ham bone-up in shallow roasting pan.
2. Sear 15 min; reduce temp to 350°. Heat 12-13 min per lb.
3. Remove from oven; let rest 20-30 min. Serve.
Chef Tip: Missing your glaze? It doesn’t get any easier than glazing your ham with honey during the last 20-30 min of heating.
