Grilling Veggies
An easy method for grilling perfect veggies every time.
Ingredients
Wegmans Organic Basting Oil or Wegmans Pure Olive Oil
Wegmans Vegetable Oil
Veggies to be grilled
Salt and pepper
Equipment
Metal grill brush
Soft cloth or grill wipes
Nonstick foil
Tongs or slotted spatula
Cutting board
Knife
Serving platters and/or storage containers
Directions
1. Mise en Place
Preheat grill on HIGH 10 min.
Coat cleaned grill grate lightly with vegetable oil.
Cut veggies into roughly equal pieces.
Drizzle with basting oil to lightly coat; season with salt and pepper.
Adjust heat (MED or LOW is usually best).
2. Cook
Sear veggies on all sides.
Grill; turn (using tongs) every 1-2 min.
Cook until knife tip pierces easily with no resistance.
3. Finish
Transfer to serving platter.
